I recently bought a home in Milpitas and with the goal of promoting small businesses in the city of Milpitas tried Vedas. The food at Vedas is amazing and the service provided by Kumar, Marinella and team is exceptional. I have hosted a party at their restaurant for a non profit organization and their service and food kept each of my 30 guests happy. I intend to frequent Vedas and bring all my party business to them as they are the best Indian restaurant on this side of the bay.

After reading the 1 and 2 star reviews, I found it necessary to throw my 5 cents in. The reviews that I have read are a little disturbing. My boyfriend and I have eaten here 3 times. The first time we went, we were greeted with great hospitality. We asked for recommendations on appetizers as well as main courses. The waiter started by asking our preference of meat. He then recommended the Hyderabadi Chilli Chicken, Kashmiri Lamb Roganjosh and the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and of course Naan. The food was prepared and presented with a lot of care. We definitely could not wait to come back. When we did revisit, the waiter as well as other staff remembered us..they not only remembered us but I mean, they even remembered that we loved the lamb. By our third visit, they remembered us, asked why we didnt come in the week before and were prepared to order the lamb dish for us. They are very, very welcoming and after just 3 visits know us by name. Don't let the lower ratings fool you. Our 3 dinner visits have been incredible. We definitely recommend this restaurant .

We came for dinner there yesterday; were disappointed that you did not honor a valid gift certificate that we had. The waiter said something about no contract with restaurant.com after some date. But this is a gift certificate that we purchase on line and as per the conditions in thecertificate, it was still valid. Very bad experience

I had a craving and did not know of any Indian restaurants nearby. I stopped by Vedaâ??s for the first time and ordered the Samosa and the Stuffed Kulcha with potato to go. Yum! I will definitely be back for a sit down meal. The décor and ambience is elegant and I like the deep, rich colors. The young man that took my order was very hospitable, even though I was dressed down in my workout clothes.
